STUDIO HAM, a family-run interior design and build practice, was launched in 2011 by Nick, Pamela, Kate, and Tom Cox. Located in the picturesque Hambleden valley near Henley-on-Thames, our studio is both a design hub and an interiors emporium, showcasing a constantly changing collection of art, antiques, and our bespoke Made by HAM collections. Our team of 18 passionate creatives is dedicated to crafting meticulously well-considered, comfortable, and high-quality interiors tailored to modern family life.

Our Philosophy

At STUDIO HAM, we believe that homes should be comfortable, relaxed, and beautifully curated spaces that reflect the personalities and tastes of the families living in them. Our style is an updated take on the classic country house, deeply rooted in tradition but tailored for modern family life. We are known for our playful use of colour and the unexpected, creating interiors that are as functional as they are aesthetically pleasing.

2. Custom Furniture and Lighting: Our in-house design team creates the Made by HAM range of handcrafted furniture and lighting, offering custom sizes and bespoke finishes tailored to each project.

3. Antique Sourcing: Our team of designers frequently curates the Found by HAM antique collection, sourcing unique and characterful pieces from around the country and further afield.

4. Full-Scale Interior Design and Build Services: From concept to completion, we manage every aspect of the design and build process, ensuring seamless project execution and exceptional results.

5. Interior Architecture and Project Management: Our skilled interior architects and project managers oversee all aspects of the project, from initial designs and technical drawings to on-site coordination and execution.

The Team

Our passionate and experienced team is our greatest asset. Led by the Cox family, STUDIO HAM brings together a diverse group of talented individuals who share a deep commitment to designing and creating beautiful, functional spaces that enhance our clients' lives.

• Thomas Cox, Founder & Principal: Thomas leads the team in building new relationships, finding suppliers, project support, systems and strategy, and overseeing all ongoing projects.
• Pamela Cox, Founder & Design Director: With a background in interior design spanning thirty years, Pamela brings her expertise and creativity to every project.
• Nick Cox, Founder & Design Director: Nick specialises in architectural design, spatial planning, landscaping, and sympathetic extension work.
• Kate Cox, Partner & Creative Director: With a keen eye for detail and a passion for antiques, Kate influences the English country house style and folk art in her designs.
• Alan Josey, Financial Director: Alan joined the team in 2023, bringing his experience as a chartered management accountant and seasoned finance director.
• Kathryn Cross, Interior Architect & Design Project Manager: Kathryn holds degrees in Interior Architecture and Project Management from Oxford Brookes University.
• Emily Davies, Interior Architect & Design Project Manager: Emily gained her BA (Hons) in Interior Design from the University of Portsmouth and specialises in spatial planning and client liaison.
• Neil Stafferton, Interior Architect: Neil has a background in furniture and product design and is drawn to authentic design and its relationship with people and the environment.
• Chiara De-Luca, Interior Architect: Chiara grew up surrounded by art and architecture and is an ARB-accredited architect with experience in high-end residential and new-build projects.
• Hannah Holland, Interior Architect & Project Management & Design Coordination: Hannah is experienced in all aspects of the design process, from concept development to project management.
• Marianna Glykofridi, Interior Architect: Marianna's expertise encompasses graphic design, interior design, and project management, with a focus on innovative and sustainable solutions.
