Based in Mid Sussex, I, Hilary May, am a garden designer with over twenty years of experience in creating imaginative and bespoke garden designs for homes and businesses across Sussex. My passion for plants and gardens began many years ago, and I've had the privilege of transforming outdoor spaces into oases of beauty and tranquility.

How it all began

After graduating from university with a degree in 3-Dimensional design, I worked as a commercial interior designer and architectural draughtsman. However, my lifelong fascination with plants and gardens eventually led me to apply my design skills to help clients create their own unique outdoor spaces. This transition marked the beginning of my journey as a garden designer.
