Expertise and Accreditations

We are HETAS Registered Installers, the official body recognised by government to approve solid fuel domestic heating appliances, fuels, and services, including the registration of competent installers. As a HETAS registered installer, we can self-certify that the completed installation complies with Building Regulations and provide the relevant certificate and data plate.

We are also registered members of the National Association of Chimney Engineers (NACE) and our work is registered on the national chimney base. We are approved installers for Schiedel Isokoat and Isokern systems and are able to supply the manufacturer's warranty documents following installation.

How We Work

When we receive a call or email from a customer outlining their service requirements, we arrange for a surveyor to visit the customer to discuss their needs and provide a quotation. Our surveys are usually free in Hampshire, Surrey, and West Sussex, but may incur a nominal charge for longer distances, which is then deducted from the accepted quote. Our specialist knowledge and abilities enable us to undertake work in other parts of the UK.

Once an acceptance and deposit have been received, we agree on an installation date. If your schedule is urgent, we will try to accommodate your time scale wherever possible. Some outside work, such as chimney repairs, will be weather-dependent.

Once the work is complete, we test and certify the installation, and the Building Regulations Checklist is passed to Hetas for verification before onward transmission to the relevant local authority building control.

Training and Working Practice

All our technicians attend relevant training courses to ensure we meet current standards. We also ensure that the most appropriate and up-to-date methods and materials are used. To minimize disruption, we use dust sheets and polythene to contain the area around the fireplace. We also tent up and seal the area around the fireplace where possible.
